Helmut Lang, an austrian autodidact fashion designer opened his first studio in 1977. His creations are minimalist, deconstructivis and were made with very sharp lines, careful cuts, creating basic but extremely elegant silhouettes in high quality and often from high-tech fabrics.

He had denim, underwear, fragrance and accesorizes collections also. In 1999 he made a partnership with Prada group, this resulted that he left his own label in 2005.
